The 1405 Medium Rattan Perch from M&M Bird Toys is a comfortable, easy to mount cage perch.

This perch is made from a solid branch of natural rattan wood. The pieces used to make these perches have smooth surfaces with a few natural knots and bumps. The surface has a grooved wood texture that makes it even easier for beaks and feet to find a place to grip. The perch is safe to be chewed apart and is great fun for pets to do so while perching. 

The back of the perch has a large threaded screw core thats been inserted into a hole and affixed in place. This thread core holds (2) large pan washers and a metal wing nut to the perch. Using these (2) pan washers the perch can be securely mounted in cages. Place one washer against the perch and take the other and place it on the threads outside the cage before screwing on the wing nut. These washers will sandwich cage bars and keep the perch sturdily installed.

Cage perches are a convenient way for pets to get exercise. Offering a new place in the cage to perch entices birds to explore the new object, climb it and move to and from it. In addition to being pleasantly designed this perch also lets pets chew and grab it which can help them keep their beaks and talons in a trim shape. 

These perches will vary slightly in shape, size and weight as they are a natural item.
